I decided to look into getting a commercial embroidery machine, when a light bulb went off in my head and realized that I could combine my successful sales career with this new creative outlet. I realized that I could take the marketing skills I had achieved and help others in the business world strengthen their brand and build credibility with their customers through logo wear & promotional items. I quit my job, purchased a commercial machine and went to work.
The biggest thing that sets me apart from my competition is that I actually oversee all of the embroidery done. I’m able to control the sew file to best sew out on different fabric weights. For example a hat design needs to be fairly dense to sew out well, but that same file sewn out on a dress shirt will cause extreme puckering. Most embroidery shops will have the file digitized once (our industry’s lingo for creating a sew file from a digital image) then use the same file for everything they stitch on. I see poor embroidery work all the time. Quality is my number one priority. I’m passionate about making my customers look good!
In addition, I provide screen printing services and promotional items to complement the embroidery work I do. I love to use innovative marketing techniques, I help my customers retain their client base and to build new business through referral marketing. My main customer base is small businesses. I also work with several high school groups and teams bringing my expertise in tackle twill and embroidery to make unique designs.
